  • VRayVolumeGrid GPU preview

    Hey
    For some reason i cannot activate GPU preview for VRayVolumeGrid. I am using 3.30.03 , that is available only on .04 version or i miss something ?

    Which 3ds Max viewport are you using? I think it works only in Nitrous.

      hm. i noticed that the gpu preview option is greyed out too. i assumed it was a phoenix-only thing. im using max2014 with nitrous dx11

        same here , grayed out , max 14 , nitrous dx11

          You need max 2015 or later... max 2016 preferably. The older versions don't have the needed APIs.

            Works in 2016. Though does not looks like Lele's preview at all But that's maybe because i am using pre-baked VDB from Houdini , not Phoenix.

              You will need to adjust the rendering parameters based on your setup in Houdini.
