  • interior exterior lighting

I am working on an aerial interior view of an apartment - I would like to have the sun shining on the building and through the windows but I don't want this light to shine through the ceiling when I remove it to show the interior walls. Any way to do this - Hope this makes sense

Just reverse the normals on the ceiling so they won't render when looking down into the unit.

It's been too long since i've used Max, but in Maya there is a switch in the objects attributes which allows you to turn off visabillity to the camera. I'm pretty sure there is something similar in Max.
