  • How do you open your Spherical VR or 6x1 cub VR Vray Image in Oculus Rift SDK headset

    Hi.
I have followed some tutorials on the new Vray VR cameras and rendered out both types of the new VR images. The spherical and and 6x1 cube type.

My office has an SDK set of the Oculus Rift glasses and I was wondering if anyone who has done this could please help me figure out how to load the image? I click on the Oculus demo content room which is an exe file and it works and in their configuration utility you can view the seating at the desk but nowhere have I been able to find how you load up your own created images.

I did watch the Vray created Youtube demo using the apartment room where she shows you how to render out the two types of cameras and at the end she just mentioned that she viewed them in the Oculus rift but not how to get them loaded.

Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

    Thanks.
    John

I believe you need some kind of VR player which can handle VR images.
Such apps are already discussed on a few places on the forums like here:
