  • Otoy is cross-compiling CUDA for non-Nvidia GPUs

This looks awesome, what will this do for VrayRT?

It will do little for us as our GPU code is cross-platform already between OpenCL, CUDA and CPUs. Also, somehow I seriously doubt nVidia will allow this to get out in the world...

    Best regards,

I had this posted in my github for some time (year or so) - http://github.com/savage309/GPAPI ... It is not complete, since I created it as showcase for my students in the university. But makes your code compile for whatever API you want and can easily be extended. RT GPU has this design from the time being. p.s. I think they have missed to mention, that "compiling"/"compatible" is one thing, but "working" is another
