Dof plugin recommendation?

I used dof pro to make dof in post back in the day. What dof plugins do you recommend nowadays? I do post work in PS. Or is the PS dof way to go?

I quite like the Frischluft Lenscare one, I use it in After Effects but there is a Photoshop version.

Cannot get working Frischluft Lenscare with AE CC , it just closes when i apply the plugin... Support is horrible to be honest , they did not help with anything. Been waiting for an answer about this problem for a month - and still no reply.
Any reliable plugins for AE other than Frischluft anyone ?
VFB+ looks interesting , though need something in AE
