  • Movement Using VR Rendering

I believe this animation was done with pre-rendering such as V-Ray. It has options when you're wearing the ViveVR to move on the deck of the sunk ship, but only confined to the space of your 10ish foot room. My question is, how is something like this create so you can move a few feet and the space still feels like you're in a VR environment. Like you can walk closer to the edge of the ship.

Im thinking its done with some type of Spherical Rendering setting using Max and V-Ray, but I could be mistaken. Unreal Engine perhaps? Any idea?

That's not prerendered - it's running in something like UE4
