Hi all,
I have been asked to work for a few days from the office of my client on a laptop.
I have a small rendering farm in my office 5 dual xeons v3 28cores each, which works like a dream for rendering.
I have a vray 3.3 license and 5 rendering nodes.
I have only one dongle but I was wandering if could order one more dongle and render remotely? I am synchronising everything on dropbox which is on a dedicated hardisk with same name in each machine. So all the files are synchronised.
I was hoping to login with remote desktop or the autodesk remote desktop and render remotely at my office while I am doing small adjustments on my project. Is that possible would I need an extra license to do that ?
The procedure i had in mind is as follows. Saving my file on my remote office waiting to be uploaded and downloaded on my small rendering farm, go with remote desktop and open the file and render remotely. Doesn't sound brilliant but i can't think of anything else.
Do you have any other idea on how I can actually work remotely in a more efficient way ?
