High-res interior scene

Hi guys,

A client asked me to light an interior scene for him. I'm not experienced in that area, unlike a lot of you over here. I'd like to ask you for as many valuable tips as you can think of for lighting an interior using VRay and rendering it at a resolution of 3500 x 2350 pixels. Light settings, render settings, other tips, everything is welcome.

I was looking for info like that a while back when I was learing photons...so I collected a few resources about interior lighting using Imap on first bounce and photons on second.

and all these treads/resource deal with interior lighting/setups and mats as well ...

If you are using the beta build, you might also check out lightmaps...

Since I started using the beta build I'm converted to the Light Map gospel for any scene. It's fast, clean and gives more accurate bounced light energy than the limited light bounces of direct computation. In other words: it rocks!

Checked out your links, Paul. I was quite amazed when seeing some of the displayed renders. Especially the interiors by IDDQD and AndrewK are downright amazing. I learned a lot about lighting setup and render settings. Thanks again.
