  • Attack of greenness....

I have not used my max in a little while and when I opened it up for a new project, and opened the material browser, all the slots were filled with lime green color. I imported a few moldels (gas pumps and such) and all of the material was lime green. When I opened them in the material browser, they were mapped to the correct images but the material slot showed the texture with a green tint. If I changed it to a vray material it is fine.
Now I have added a rpc car to the scene and that is lime green also and when I look at the map slot in the material browser, it shows the colors as pink and green and I have no way to correct them.

The last time I used max, everything was fine, have not added any software that I know about and if I open this project in other computers, same problem.
    thanks

    hi
Try switching between Opengl and directx ... see if that helps?

      Thanks Natty

I found most of the problem,

I made a new scene and merged this scene into and it took care of the probelm,

      thanks for your suggestion
