Hi.
The following problem appears when we try to render-to-texture (RTT) to the network:
We are baking out Vray Materials into a Vray-Complete Map.
We will choose the following setup:
- Use existing Mapping (or aut. unwrap depending on the object) with the according map-channel selected
- Set the directory for the output
- Set the file-name
- Set file-type (tga, png, jpg..)
- Target slot: Diffuse Map or Color Map
- Create New Material > Keep Baked
- Apply Color Correction > on
- Set the output size : (i.e. 1024x1024 px)
When now rendered locally, everything comes out in the right image size.
But when assigned to the network render (on top of the render-to-texture window), it will completely “ignore” the RTT settings, and go by whatever image output size is set in the ‘common’ render settings menu.
We are not sure wether this is a 3DSMax problem, a VRay problem or maybe some information we are missing on how to achieve this.
We need to be able to line up RTT jobs into the backburner / network, with different sizes for the each of the jobs.
Some help with that topic would be greatly appreciated!
All the best,
