if you have a sequence of video shot on a particular camera, tracked with after-effects and exported to 3ds Max: it creates a standard 3ds max camera.
Is there a way of making a sequence like this accurately track with a Vray Physcamera instead.
I ask this because the footage is shot with a camera for which I can use a .lens file for distortion in vray.
separately tracking it in max with its own plugin again resolves to a standard max camera, and that might be potentially different to the AE solution.
IMO the vray physcamera is far superior so I would like to use it to provide the render especially as I can match pretty accurately the DOF, vignetting etc.
is there a workflow that would work?
