  • applying UVs to multiple objects

Is it possible to apply a texture that needs to align from object to object, without needing to apply it once on all selected objects?

For example I have a brick material that I want to be seamless across multiple floors. If I apply it correctly to one floor and then copy and paste onto the next, the texture will be misaligned. The only way I've know is the select all the objects and apply the UV once. But then it becomes a hassle when things are changing around and new geometry is added.

    Any tricks I've missed?

that's what the acquire button is for.

you can go absolute (you want this one) or relative.

Unless I'm misunderstanding the OP, he'd want to select his objects, and make sure that use pivots option is *off* before applying the UVW modifier. So that it applies a single modifier instanced over all the objects at once
