Volumegrid Smoke Opacity Question

On certain fumefx sims I import into a volumegrid, I need to set the opacity to extremely small values. The lowest I can get it is 0.001, but that still isn't enough.

How can I get lower here? Is there an option to clamp values on density like there is in fumefx smoke so I can choose what's considered 100% opacity?

Hello,

You can use the smoke opacity curves to do that. Just select which channel you would like to use from the "Based on" dropdown (anything other than Simple smoke) and adjust the values. The greenish region is showing the data range for the imported cache file.

Default precision value of 3DSMax is 3 if you increase that value you will be able to enter lower values than 0.001

I'll bring this thread to the attention of our VolumeGrid guys, they might have more elegant solution(it looks like Georgi is already in front of my post).
