I am curious...
If I use V-Ray in both 3ds Max and Maya, can I render a scene with a character in 3ds Max and separately render the character's hair in Maya (compositing the two for final)? I ask because I prefer 3ds Max but like some of the aspects of XGen hair in Maya. Has anyone else done this? If so, what issues do I need to consider?
