Self reflection

I have a problem with glossy reflections can anyone help? I have a series of metal panels with glossy reflections which render fine, However the glass adjacent to them reflects the panels with no reflection.

Any ideas?

did you check your max depth for the reflections?

(can't check if there is a global setting for it right now, rendering something with mental ray )

maybe your glass material has too low reflection depth settings
