  • vray set up question

Hi, I just read a tutorial from evermotion, and have a question about vray set up.
may I know why the artist put vray sky in 3ds max background environment slot and also in vray GI environment slot?
is there any special need to do that?
    Best regards,
    Jackie Teh

You can control the two seperently. A lot of times you might want more light in your scene, but you don't want an over exposed sky.
