  • Ornatrix hair in RT gpu

    Hi, why i see less hair in active shade in RT gpu? In production RT gpu is fine.

    In ActiveShade we show the viewport version of Ornatrix; if you set the preview hairs to 100% it should be fine.

      U mean the preview hairs from ornatrix itself? gottcha.
      Is that possible though to change this behavior in RT gpu? cause it would be optimal to see in viewport a % of hair, but in rendering the total hair count.

        It's a bit difficult as it will cause Ornatrix to constantly switch between viewport and render, but it's somewhere on the "to do" list to research this.

          I was wondering the same thing. But putting the ornatrix hair viewport display to 100% makes my system freeze.

            We haven't done anything specific with regards to this. It might a good idea to bring up this issue with Ephere - when I tried explaining it to them, they didn't quite seem to understand what is the problem and I kind of gave up.

            Things should work fine if V-Ray RT is used as production renderer though.

              Ok good to know it should work in production rendering. I just tried with activeshade.
