Hey guys,
as you may remember, when Autodesk released max 2016, they've added
something called the "Alembic performance mode" which is (unlikely for Autodesk) actually pretty cool.

Now I'm not really sure how it works, but I'm guessing that the mesh data is written into the working memory
and the GPU then streams this data directly into the viewport without having to go through the max core.
Would it be possible to add something similar to the Vray proxy when loading alembic files?
Possibly (unlike Autodesk's caching) with some more options for "cache only frame XXXX - XXXX".
