  • from were the big difference came?

    hello guys (vlado)
i really want to understand from were the big difference came?

its the same lighting ... same camera setting...

why in corona its look like its more easy to clean the noise in 1 minutes while in vray i get very high dens areas?

its look like vray has more highlight on the room and in the pixels but i think corona by default dont clap nothing...

there is any way to soft the noise like corona do?

I would advice to send both scenes to Vlado, then there will be better chances to figure things out.

Maybe Probabilistic Lights is turned on? Try turning it off, sometimes this leads to more noise. I use it only when there are lots and lots of light sources.

Is it possible for you to upload the complete setting for both?
and can you explain more thoroughly what method you use for lighting in both?

of course not. it doses the denoising process after stopping the render. But it has an option for just remove firefly which is not relevant here.
but vray has the option to determine the progressive updating frequency which corona does not and give an edge here to vray. You can decide when to stop render in a more proper way with vray.

My wild guess is that you are not using domelight in V-Ray.

Corona does image based lighting from environment by default where as V-Ray defaults to just naive sampling of environment using random GI rays. In case I am right, then just add Dome Light to your scene and instance environment map into it.
