new to v-ray

  • new to v-ray

    Hi guys I am new to v-ray so be gentle,
    I have got the demo of v-ray and have gone through the Osmosis Tutorial and everything went great- nice image,
    now I am trying to use my own model of a small bathroom with the same settings as before and when rendered all i get is black image ,
    any help would be appreciated,

    a screenshot of your settings would be helpful. You have a light in the scene and GI turned on?

      Thanks for the reply Percy,
      I found the problem, the camera for the view seemed too close to a wall it was next to. I moved the camera slightly and all was ok. Strange though because the shaded viewport view looked ok .

        might try turning on viewport clipping.
