  • how to work the g-buffer pases?

    Hey everyone
Just recentrly have gotten vray and wow its very cool trying to figure out the g-buffer based pases. When I set to vray frame buffer and set to output g-buffer to separete images all images are coming out black. Can anyone tell me how they work? do they only work with RPF or RLA , Im mostly interested in specular/shadow/diffusion passes
    Thanks.

go to the g buffer rollout and choose all g buffers you want rendered. Should work fine.

well i mentioned this to Vlado, he replied that at this stage it only works with vray mtl
but im using lots more then vray mtl because it doesnt support specular (fake hotspot)
I guess I'll have to do it manyally one pass at a time
