online licensing

Hi,

I want to use online licensing so I dont need to use dongle, but it still say Automatic activation requires connection to Online Licensing, which is currently unavailable. Internet is ok of course and I am not using proxy, so where is a problem. I suppose installation take care of windows firewall and ports, so I dont know what else I can do. Any advice please?

Now it seems online licensing is working. But still VRay cant find license and doesnt work. Am I missing something?

You need to be logged in in the Online license server (http://localhost:30304 on the license server's machine -> Online licensing ->Enable) with the account (username/password) that's associated with your application for V-Ray 3.5 Beta - they should be stated in the automatic reply for the application.
You might need to refresh the status page to see the licenses listed. Also - the client license setting should be correctly set to point to the license server's machine ( Windows Start > All Programs > Chaos Group > V-Ray [host app] > Licensing > Administration > Change V-Ray client license settings).
After that - restart 3ds Max and test. If you still get a license problem - it will be best to write us an e-mail at support@chaosgroup.com

I think I have done all of this but its not working. Look at help files but sorry, its useless. It says only about hostfile page, enable online activation and everything should be fine. Didnt tell about other steps we should do. What about online autorization in VRay licence server? I think I miss something, but mails or help files doesnt mention anything.
