  • octane to vray

ok, probably been asked a million times but the search didnt turn up anything obvious.. ive got to collaborate on a quick turnaround project with a guy who is using octane. i wanna use vray obvs. At his end the octane converter seems to do a reasonable job of converting the vray materials to octane ones. but in the other direction? the vray material converter doesnt even try to convert them.

We don't have a converter from Octane to V-Ray (nor do we have plans for one); I know that Stefan Twigt is working on Octane support for his "universal material converter" script, it might be useful to ask and see if there is any progress there:

I only act like I know everything, Rogers.

For convert Octane to V-Ray you can try plugin "V-RayMax Converter PRO": https://maxtools.3dzver.ru/vmcpro
