Hy!
I have to replace some lights in Photos i get provided.
My workflow for this task is to paint the existing lights and lighting out, then rebuild the room in 3D and insert the new lights.
Set the geometry of the room as matte-object in the vray-properties.
The only way to get light on the matte geometry is to use Light-Materials without direct illumination checked.
Lights or direct illuminating materials will not work!
Is there a way to get this to work with Lights.
Sometimes i would need IES Light for these jobs.
I know i could camera map the Photo to the Geometry and rebuild all the lighting in the room, but this will never be exact...
