Corona to Vray

Is there a one click or roughly one click solution to convert Corona scenes to Vray? I realize I will have to do some manual work but the default Vray scene converter errors on Corona Materials.

What kind of error do you get? Can you paste it here? Also, which Corona version, and which 3ds Max version?

It appears to be hanging on line 585. If I have time I will dig through the file and see if I can manually get rid of the Corona material with AO.

Hi Alexander,

Just tried the latest nightly with the converter
It seems to work but there are some things that are not converted, mainly the CoronaLayeredMtl and the CoronaMix

Here is a printscreen of a scene converted and listed in Zorb :


Only a fraction of the scene renders not black as the major once used are layered.

Look forward for a update to this converter as it will make it so easy to switch to vray from corona.

New error in converter script, or at least new error for me.

I think this error is being caused by self illum and Illuminated Corona materials in my Corona scene that are set to not be visible to reflection. Though it might be something else causing this error.
