(Authorization) Max 5 to 6 and 1.09n to 1.45.07

I am currently running Max 5 with Vray 1.09.03n and I want to test 1.45.07 under Max 6 before I switch both. The I have installed 6 and 1.45.07 for Max 6 and the Auth does not work (as I would expect). Is there a way I can do this? I really need to test this before I switch everything, we have many live projects and I do not want to change without testing both Max 6 and VRay.

I did not try 1.45.07 for Max 5 since we are moving to 6 (and 7 in a couple months)

Actually I think the base question is: is it ok to run both on the same box? Vlado?

I think its always a bad idea to swithch platforms and even from Vray 1.09 to 1.45 in the middle of a project.
If you started in one version I would finish in that version.

As far as having two versions of Vray on one machine, I followed Fermi's direction from the above post and its worked just fine.
