  • Swarm for 3dsmax?

I read a post all about the new Swarm. Is this available for 3dsmax and where do I get it? I have several rendernode licenses right now, how does this affect those?

hope swarm can support 3dsmax too.

We do not have the Swarm for 3ds Max right at this instant, but we will be working on it.

      Best regards,
      Vlado
I only act like I know everything, Rogers.

Really like the sound of this for max .... haven't used DR since we had to pay for the extra render nodes .
So how does the pricing work for swarm for revit .....are additional node licenses required to be bought ?

        Cheers

I use DR all the time, Swarm looks great and depending on how the licensing works could really speed up the process! Why it wasn't implemented in Max/Maya first since this has to be the largest group using Vray?

Regarding Swarm and its CPU resource slider: What happens when two (or more) people in the network want to render via Swarm and all of them put their sliders to 100%? Will the resources be shared evenly, or how is that case handled?

It's the same principle like V-Ray DR, the first computer that occupies the machines will use them until the job is completed, there will be no resources sharing.
