i am just testing it in my scene.

at the moment the brightnes is a bit diffucult to adjust, and also i am not sure if optical feedback of the rendered window comes near to the scene i have. But it is a very very first test.

At last it works. the ies file i created already is in my scene.

i think i first have to test it a bit more

Well i think this is allready good.

it still could be much more handy.

              1. a 3d presentation in space
              2. a bezier like method to draw your ies graph
              3. an alternate graph, showing your light distribution in the way ies usualy is shown (as you know what i mean)

              4. a load ies file button also to load old or realworld ies files
              5. a scale button.

as allways, there´s allways a way to improve things

but at last i think with a bit training, it allready is faster than searching 2000 ies files

                  Well

I think i send our ideas to the programmer

maybe this little thing grows a bit further, and of course

Vlado and Peter ! maybe a little utility for the next vray on the right side under the load web file ... and such a window pops up ?

                    Hi

here we go. A first little test. worked fast and easy. sure to strong lightpatterns. But only a test.

Tom ...if you keep the red line's below the half way mark the light will diffuse and produce some nice light

How do you read these ies graphs? I dont 100% understand the view.

When you render one of the ies file, How are you looking at the rendering? Is it a profile, frontal view, top view?

                        Thanks,
                        Travis

                              Tom,

Could you repost the link to the IES Draw thing. I can't seem to get it.
The Pies program I had already for a long time.

                              Thank you,

                              Ismael
