Hello everyone,

This is my first post. I just bought a new system for my ArchViz work. I have 2 x GTX 1080's; they work fine on simple scenes. I'm using Vray 3.05.03 / 3ds Max 2017.

Once I fire up a larger ArchViz scene I get this message:

[VrayRTMax::renderThreadProc] Exception occurred in rendering thread.

Anyone else had this issue?

Hello,

Do you have IES lights in the crashing scene? There is a bug we missed in the release related to IES lights - it happens in RT with both CUDA and CPU.

Yes. I have many IES lights in the scene.

Now that you mention it CPU is not working either.

At least it is a known issue. Anxiously awaiting a fix. Thanks!
