  • How do I save an image with the LUT I used in VFB color corrections?

I'm not having any luck understanding how to save a render from the VRay frame buffer with my LUT choice "baked in". I read the help doc on it but I'm still not sure how to save a render with a LUT.

    Thanks for your assistance.

Control Key + C (to copy)
Then paste into a program of your choice i.e Photoshop

A better solution is to save out the LUT, then apply in post

All these years and I've never once thought to CNTRL+C on the frame buffer. Live & learn. Thanks, that worked. I realize I can do this in post, but sometimes I just want to save/use the render as is.

I do appreciate that sometimes the most obvious solutions allude us. There are a few threads on this specific request, but I do empathise that unless you read the forums daily these points get lost in all the posts. Personally, I find searching not entirely useful unless you know the exact phrases or wording to search for. The community here is superb and always very helpful, even when it may appear the same question is being asked - one of the few places where there is no wrong question to ask.

Know the docs are updated continually, would be a good point to add to the FB sections.

I hope it will be implemented in the next update. It is indeed really annoying to need a 3d part app just to save LUT with beauty pass.

Here is a previous post about it: http://forums.chaosgroup.com/showthr...in-Beauty-pass

In 3.5 there is a new button on top to copy to clipboard. But still have to use another program.
