  • Vray Material Opacity (Vray 3.20 and 3ds max 2017)

I have a material. One is color and for the opacity channel a black and white image.
The color map has black letters, and the opacity map of course has a white letter.

The final render is white letters instance of black.

When the diffuse map is black and white and the opacity map is black and white but inverse, the letter come black.

Why? In both case the diffuse slot show a pure black letters and white in the opacity channel?

    Thanks

I think this is normal behavior because the Opacity map makes the white part visible and black one invisible. Diffuse map with inverted colors will make the visible part "black" color.
You can attach some images to illustrate the problem you have in case I'm missing something.
