The ocio config you’re using from me does a film emulation. So does the LUT from Kim Amland. So they don’t really make sense to use in combination. The intent of my ocio setup would rather be to first do s film emulation, then add a “look” like bleach bypass or orange teal. In other words something that is done to the film in post.

so the lut you load in shouldn't be too harsh I guess?
I guess for now I will stick to a log look to work upon on post.
Does anybody know what the difference between a raw image from a camera is and what we can export from vray?
I'm asking because I love using capture one for post work and cataloguing. But a render exported in 16bit doesn't give me dynamic range of my camera raw images. At least just speaking from my memory...Check out my tutorials, assets, free samples and weekly newsletter:
