  • VFB appears on render nodes - normal?

Our recent jump to Max2017 and VRay 3.4003 is working ok, but I've noticed the VFB appears on the render nodes while they are rendering. I've not noticed this before - is this normal/ok?
    Kind Regards,
    Richard Birket

It's normal, and it's ok, I guess. Actually a lot of people asked us to keep this functionality so that they can keep an eye on the renders...

    Best regards,

But with DR (single image) we don't see anything I don't think...

(but if it isn't wrong, it doesn't matter anyway I guess)

Hm, not sure about the DR part - will check it out. I thought you were talking about Backburner.

Could you please double check your scene set-up? You shouldn't get the VFB visible in the render nodes when doing DR with single image or witgh animation.

We have our farm machines displaying VFB about 25% of the time. It's hit and miss. I don't understand it but it doesn't seem to cause any problems.

We've reproduced it here and will look into it. It shouldn't be there in DR mode.

                  Best regards,

Yes, happens here too when using DR. I don't remember it happening with older versions of Vray.

Same here with Max 2016 + Vray 3.50.03 : the VFB appears on the nodes when doing DR.
