Just a quick post to share my Adaptive Lights test results, because it's beyond my expectations. I can't post the images, NDA and all that stuff.
An interior scene (cosmetics shop) with 148 lights, rendered at 2500 px wide using DR, rendered in 14'23" without Adaptive Lights. With Adaptive Lights activated, set on 20, the same image was rendered in ... 8'56" !! for the exact same quality (2 images stacked in PS, difference mode) !!! so it's about 38 % faster.
I know you already it but ... you've done an amazing work on this one, thanks a lot and congratulations, Chaos Group
