  • Diffuse in Vray materials

    Hey everybody ,

just a quick question to see if anyone can help , im doing a model of a house with a wooden floor using a vray material for thh wooden floor , ive put a bitmap of a floor board in the diffuse part of the vray material , when i have the diffuse at 100% the floor looks good but it diffuses the floor board colour all over the room so the white ceiling looks browny yellow , but then if i reduce the diffuse the ceiling looks good but the floor looks grey , does anyone know how i can have a good looking white ceiling and a good looking floor at the same time ??

    hi
basically you are getting colour bleed from the floor to the ceiling ... you can reduce the amount of gi bounce ... or tell the floor not to produce so much gi in the vray settings.
