How to disable render element when using vray VFB ?

Hey

A thing that always made me wonder... but how can we disable render element? I have 73 render mask elements. How can I off them but not delete?

Hello,

You can turn off all elements with the "Elements Active" checkbox and if you want to turn off individual elements - you can use their "vrayVFB" checkbox:

Oh fantastic I forgot about that little VrayVFB checkbox. Nice one thanks!

Um, is there a script or something if I want to disable a lot of elements at once ? I'm setting up 4-5 state scenes per animation job. Quite a bit of clicking to do.

It's certainly possible to write a script, but you'll need to give some more details about when to turn an element on or off.

I guess just a tree-view a like to display all render elements - shift select ones we want and then just click on-off. I guess State sets should record it as well if its scripted rather than user clicked?

Or maybe display vrayVBF on/off button when we shift select them in max render element window?
