We're having a couple computers on our render farm that can't obtain a license. In the past, we ran a program from the start menu to start the license server, but that is no longer there. We have 2 dongles, and it would appear one can't be reached for a license. The configuration is the same as it has been, and is linking to the IPs with the dongles. We're running the latest nightly builds for VRay and Phoenix on our systems. Is there something different we need to do?

Hi,
In order to help with this issue I would like to ask for more details.
Are the dongles plugged into one machine?
What is the V-Ray version installed?
Make sure that you have the V-Ray license server installed and running on the machine where the dongle/s are plugged in. To conform that you can get the status of the license server by typing
http://localhost:30304/
You may need to replace the Localhost with the IP of the machine where the License server is running. This is in case that you are trying to access it from the local network.

We had 2 dongles, each on a different machine. The local host link worked on one, but not the other. Putting both dongles on the machine that worked gives us all the licenses. I don't know how to start the license server anymore with the changes. How do I get it running on the machine that didn't work?
