  • Brute Force Question

Help anyone..... please. I'm attempting to use Brute force for the first time for the final product. I'm using LC/BF What is the secret for cleaning up the noise issue. I posted a similar topic some time ago with no response. I can't image the brilliant minds at Chaos Group development a GI setting that cannot be cleaned up. I would like to use these settings in an animation. Also, please look at the settings dialog.....this area is grayed out and if I choose BF/BF......the only button available is the bounces. The subdivision are never available.

    Thanks....Scott.

subdivisions are automatically calculated by vray now, if you want to access those parameters just tick "use local subdivisions" in the global dmc rollout.

Hi Scott. You CAN set it yourself, but as an oldschool VRay user you should really learn and get use to the NEW WAY of doing things. Things are mostly automatic for a reason. There's been a bunch of work done in this area and various tests have been done, in the end, just let VRay sort this stuff out for itself and get on with your life. There's a new denoiser element in here for a while now. That, together with the default settings (switching to bucker or using RT GPU), will get you where you need to be.
