  • Does vray 3.5 for max have vray RT

Hi we never used vray before

Does 3.5 version come with both CPU and GPU (RT) versions?

Does vray RT have same controls and CPU vray. is vray easy to learn or not?

    Thank you!

Yes, V-Ray has both CPU (Adv) and a (RT) GPU version.

V-Ray GPU is different engine to V-Ray Adv. They share mostly the same UI and might often render very similar to each other, but most often the result will be slightly different.
You can check the supported features in the GPU, compared to V-Ray Adv here.

Here are some guides about V-Ray and the GPU rendering docs, gpu guide 1, gpu guide 2. As everything new, it takes some time go get familiar, but the workflow with V-Ray is very easy to use (and quite powerful).

    Best,

      Hi,
Maybe you might wanna hear this from someone other than a developer. VRay made much progress in user experience and ease of use during the last months.
Basically now at default settings you could hit render and be done with it. You can still dial many spinners but it is not really neccassary anymore, most of the time you would make things worse if you don't exactly know what you are doing and even then only special scenarios profit from manual dialing.
Most of the stuff you manually dial in is really personal preference and not something which would make stuff technically more efficient. If you didn't use VRay before just stay with the default settings and the Beginner interface.
