Network rendering

Hi

I'm currently trying to convince the company i work for to purchase VRAY.

The main area of concern is that of Network rendering. We run Max 6 which comes with mental ray and unfortunately only network renders with additional licences of mental ray.

So my question is; whether you buy the basic or advanced version of VRAY, will it network render to any amount of other machines? without additional licences?

You don't need to worry about Mental Ray at all. 1 copy of Vray will allow you network render without additional licenses. Not sure what the limit is - there may be no limit, but I recall 10 for some reason.

I think you have 10 licenses for Distributed Rendering and
unlimited for standard network rendering...
