  • Pricing proportion

    Goodmorning chaosbrigade!

    I had a problem giving a price when the client asked me to the max file too, so I just wondering if exist a proportion between a rendered image, an animation and a max file. I know everybody struggle giving an offer for a project. Maybe that can make our life easyer. Mine for sure yes!

    For example a project with 5 rooms(100sqm):
    So if a 1280x1024 rendered image with high settings is 1unit.
    How much can we charge for an animation PAL quality 720x576 lets say 1000 frames and how many units is that max file?

    I used a unit because pricing in money varies from country to country.
    Please give me some hints!
    Thanks

        well you have to work out how long its going to take you as an estimate.
        so many units per hour or a day rate .. we normaly charge 300 units a day.
