  • How do I reduce the rendering time for animation?

It takes me very long time (30minutes/frame) to render an animation (walkthrough) with vray light and vray render. How do I reduce the rendering time for animation?

if you are not using a render-farm and are only using one machine to render your animation, you really need to optimize your settings. look at the QMC to see how you can speed things up ... lower your AA ... dont use glossy ....you know stuff like that.

also are you using a saved irradiance map for your flythrough anims?

Thank so much Natty! using your setting I'll save time for test render, but the animation also needs good quality. we cannot use the quality of render test for animation. Do you have any other resolution for animation?
