if you plan on using vray on both computers at the same time, yes you will need 2 versions. If you need it installed on both computers, but only using 1 at a time, then you dont need 2, you only need one, with the license server running. This will allow you to share the vray license over the network. You can install vray up to 10 computers for rendering nodes.
with the beta you chose wich one to work with aslong as they somehow see eachother ( lan vpn etc ).
with the current official release i think the license is bound to your machine id so its not possible to switch from 1 to another without a new license. i think, not shure though.
