I remember reading that it is not available for us Viz 4 users, however, I think Vlado made a statement a couple of weeks ago that if there was enough interest, he would provide it.

Add me to the list as well. Im not sure when my office will upgrade to Viz 2005!

            BUMP TO TOP

            Vlado,

Any chance to get the beta for Viz 4?

I also had a question about DR in the DR Stickey.

I am running version 1.09.03M and only renders from my renderslave but not on my host computer. Is it possible to use DR on two computers where both machines will render or do I need a third computer to simply send the file to start the DR.

            Thanks,
            Arkitec

You just need to run the spawner on your local machine.

                rerender,

                thanks for replying....

in my previous post under the DR stickey, I mentioned that I am getting a licensing error. Could that be due to running 1.09.03 "M" not "N"?

                Thanks,

Hmm, m or n should work, I don't think spawner looks for a license, you get the error when you start the service or when you render?

                    Rerender,

I got home tonight, read your post and wanted to find out when the error was occuring.

Created a small scene...and of course like everytime you bring your car to the mechanic and say its making a clicking noise, mec starts it up and no clicking......

everything was working fine. both machines worked and rendered.

Cant explain it. I tried this several times this weekend.....

Who knows...Im just glad it all works now.

                    Thanks anyways...

                        so the cliche,

new orleans definetly has its moments, but the bad weather 6 months out of the year pretty much drains it it out of you. the muggies suck.

the food is awesome but nothing compares to the coast year around.

Dont get me wrong, I DO remember the bad things. - LOL
