Hi - quick question. Our company recently purchased VRay advanced and started off by downloading build 1.09, getting it authorised etc. We were under the impressions that vray had floating licence which is exactly what we need here - we can all use it, just not at the same time.
After a little time this morning we discovered the latest help file for download is related to the 1.45 BETA build, not the 1.09 one, and the 1.09 does not have a floating licence server
Never mind, we've just downloaded the current 1.45 BETA and now we have to submit a new request code to get out new licence key for it. Another 4 day wait
Not a problem really, we'll get it eventually...
Anyway, my question is this - when we download any updated BETA version of VRay or finally the 1.5 release from now on, will we always need to submit a new request code to get a new licence for that particular build, or will the licence we're getting sent for the current BETA 1.45 build cover all further updates upto the release of say VRay 2.0 or something?
It's not a problem really at all, it's just a bit of a ball ache waiting to be able to receive the licence from vray so we can use it and I hope we don;t have to do it each time...?
Anyway, thanks!!
