  • Storing photons with the incremental itt map - how?

I'm about to render my first interior fly thru for which I'm using photons. If I precalculate the irradiance map will this store the photon calculation? In the Global Photon Map rollout I see there is a 'Convert to irradiance map' option. Will this store the in the irr map or should I be saving the photon map seperately & does incremental add to this? So many questions......
How come Psychics have to ask for your name?

    Hey dude..

Irr map is view dependant and Photons arn't.... meaning when you calc Photons you only have to do it once and Irr map is per camera view so anything outside that view doesnt get included... but with photons it does ...

so calc your photons once ... and then run irr map calcs..
