Can Vray render hidden line or wireframe?

yeah,

then new version (beta 1.45) comes with a toon shader that does just that.
it's pretty simple (nothing like illustrate or finaltoon) but still good for simple hiddenline.

Thanks for the help. I have Vray Basic and the only options I have are thickness and hidden edges under the parameters. Is there a way to render a wireframe without the object rendered as a solid - and/or can I render just the edges so it looks like a hidden line drawing?

You can use it in the opacity slot, and make hidden all the edges you don't want to see
