Having finally grasped (well, almost) how to create animation for DVD playback, now I am being asked to create a presentation for CD-rom using Director! Great - more stuff to learn.
Its a while since I have been involved with encoding animation for CD-rom purposes, so could anyone suggest a good compressor and actual video size that I should create. I really need the video to be full-screen or as near as when played back.
Should I still be aiming for datarates suited to a 2x cd player, or can I up the ante to a 10 speed player, for example?
