HELP! Vray not installing

After re-formatting the hard drive, re-installing max and vray, I having a problem. After attempting to fire up Max the program hangs at this point. I have never had this problem before. The only way to get out of it is to re-boot the system. Any suggestions ASAP would be greatly appreciated.

Did you know you can just hit Alt +Print Screen to grab a shot of what you're working on? Then just paste it into your favorite image editor. No idea about the hang up though.

Just a thought, but did you install your windows updates AFTER installing max, or before?

mmmm.....I do not know. I did not personally re-format the drive my IT guy did. What updates should I be looking for and why would this matter? I'm running W2K sever. And yes.....I know how to do screen captures but for some reason during the max boot up, it did not work, so I had to resort to the camera.

After updating some of the OS, I was able to get Vray reg. dialog to come up. Thanks.....now I need to get Vray authorized....
