  • Current Vray built good for Max 7?

I think someone has posted that the current Vray Advance is good for Max 7. Can someone please confirm me on this?

    Thanks.

only thing i tested is the current internal beta, 1.4603 that seems to work fine sofar with max 7.

think the offical beta 1.4570 also does do the job pretty well.

ah wait i just see, 1,09xx also does.

Strange but true, we observed less problems with Max7 and Vray 1.09 then with Max 6.
Why this, i do not know, but our tests with Max 7 are really exciting for our current productions.

              regards,

              robert

                Tom, Syclone1 and Robert,

Do you have any trouble with your render slaves not saving the IR map in Max7's Backburner?

That is the problem that I am having, but I couldn't figure out wether it's the new backburner or Vray that is causing the problem. We are running Max7 with vray 1.09r.

                    lukx thank you for sharing.

I am so glad that I am not alone on this one. Right now only Dynedain, lukx and I are reporting this bug. Is anyone else experiencing this problem with his/her render farm?

Since I am the person who made the recommendation to my boss that Vray is good with Max7, I am feeling really nervous about how this is going to impact our production schedule.

                    Help? Tisho?!

my problem of saving the irrmap is only when a netrender is trying to do it. my workstation can save just fine in local rendermode
